Antisemitism and Crime

I've been wondering if there is a correlation between Antisemitism and Jewish criminality.
Not what you're thinking, that Antisemitism rises when Jews commit more crimes, but actually a reverse correlation.
As Antisemitism rises, Jews tend to commit certain types of crimes, justifying it by saying they are looking out for number 1 in an world turned unfriendly.
I doubt Bernie Madoff, or certain members of the Syrian community said, "Hey they want to kill us, let's rip everyone off and throw out the rules."
But perhaps they did think to themselves that the world is not treating the Jews fairly, and we know what happens when that happens. And if they're not going to play fair and by the rules, we're not going to either.
I don't know.
George Soros is certainly a perfect example of that philosophy taken to the extreme.
Your thoughts? (And as always, no Antisemites will be allowed to comment).
Tisha B'Av evening Wednesday, July 29 - join the Women in Green as they March around the Walls of the Old City of Jerusalem. But first the reading of Eichah will take place in front of the US Consulate on Agron Street at 8:00pm.

FROM CAROL HERMAN
Obama just tried to sell racial profiling, and it didn't work.
That there are Harvard elites who call themselves "scholars?" You can't fool most of the people most of the time.
As to what just happened in Brooklyn, oy vey. One of the Sephardi rabbis was known to go to poor villages in Moldovia. Where now men in poor villages have lost one kidney.
It was a disgusting business. Within a closed circle of freaks. Who do bring shame to bear.
The only hope is to tell the truth. And, when necessary to realize that freaks like Bernie Madoff learn early in life to take advantage of others.
As to the rioting Haredi; they got their power through politics! And, I'd bet many in Jerusalem, when they hear about the garbage burning and the rock throwing; stay home, behind their closed doors.
You think the government has permission to strike a blow? I'd bet the police are terrified about the repercussions when these scoundrels start screaming.
I think the age old canards tend to resurface and let's not kid ourselves into believing that they don't. If people are starting speak out vociferously about muslim honour killings (at least in 'multicultural Canada)then I'm sure we Jews are on the galut radar ...
I believe it's a built-in chainlink: "when Eisav is up, Yisrael will be down", i.e., in that the spiritual emes in Shomayim, which is stimulated by the level of tzidkus of the Jews at any given time, is played out in the political situation, which creates anti-semitism, based on the level and amount of 'sinning by the Jews', which is a result of the lack of living in emes with the mitzvos, which is because the level of Torah learning has dropped.
The reverse order is from our vantagepoint.
