Congratulations are in order to the town of Efrat.

After years of battle with the various government ministries, the government has finally officially recognized the Eitam hilltop as State land and part of the Efrat Municipality and they will hopefully be able to build there in the future.

The Eitam hill is important high ground in Judea and Gush Etzion, and was recognized as such in the early 1900's when much of it was privately purchased by Jews.

Today, the residents are celebrating with a planting ceremony.
