THE FOLLOWING POST IS NOT ACCURATE. THANK YOU TO "PESKY SETTLER" FOR CATCHING IT.

JOESETTLER WAS TRICKED BY AN EMAIL SENT FROM A (FORMERLY) RELIABLE SOURCE.

I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INACCURACY AND I AM QUITE EMBARRASSED AS I USUALLY CATCH THIS STUFF IN ADVANCE.

FOR MORE INFORMATION: SNOPES

On British Television this week...

Interviewer: How come so many more Palestinians have been killed in this conflict than Israelis?

Netanyahu: Are you sure that you want to start asking in that direction?

Interviewer: Why not?

Netanyahu: Because in World War II more Germans were killed than British and Americans combined, but there is no doubt in anyone's mind that the war was caused by Germany's aggression.

And in response to the German blitz on London, the British wiped out the entire city of Dresden, burning to death more German civilians than the number of people killed in Hiroshima.

Moreover, I could remind you that in 1944, when the R.A.F. tried to bomb the Gestapo Headquarters in Copenhagen, some of the bombs missed their target and fell on a Danish children's hospital, killing 83 little children.

Perhaps you have another question?

FROM CAROL HERMAN

You mean, here, that europe absorbed no lessons from WW2? Maybe, they should check their economies? Maybe, the British, for sure, could learn that in 1956 Ben-Gurion went all out to help both the British and French reclaim the Suez Canal that they had built. And, Eisenhower went into "screw them all" mode.

Meanwhile, check out how Americans feel about the Panama Canal.

As to what's up, please don't expect the sub-titler's of silent antics, (media mavens), to give you a clue.

While Yossi Sarid put an article in Ha'aretz, yesterday, that said: Don't watch Livni! Watch, instead Dahlia Itzik (Shimon Peres' dolly.) She's going to be offered, says Sarid, the Knesset speakership. And, Mofaz will be offered Defense.

What happened to the previous deal between Ehud Barak and Bibi? Well, Barak, seeing that Labor wasn't going to come to life in the recent election; gave Bibi "a way out." Forget Defense going to Barak, because he couldn't get 18 mandates.

It's as if there's been a switch in the seating arrangements. Labor now has 13. Meretz also went to pot. Gil Pensioners just gave Effie Eitem one seat. Letting him shed ALL his lunatics! Sweet is sweet.

Kadima will join Bibi. And, Bibi has 3 months ... during which time Olmert keeps saying "do it faster, Bibi." While the truth is Olmert holds on as "care taker prime minister."

I'd bet Livni once did stab Olmert in the back. She's been using him to gain access into his chair. And, so far? Look at the election results.

As to Obama, as far as Israelis are concerned, it's "old hat" that American presidents lob missiles into Israel; by demanding things for the arabs.

So, where's America? Stuck with the sauds. With angry Iraqis now joining Iran. Wanna talk "de-stable." Obama can dig, but I can assure you, "there's no pony, inside." Remember what Reagan said an optimist is? They dig through a barn full of horse manure, looking for the pony.

I've just stopped trusting the media. All of them! A bunch of Dan Rather's, with memories of days when they were indeed powerful chaps.

This may not be accurate, but I heard an excellent response from a Prof. at Hebrew University on the issue of "disproportionality." He said - Hamas themselves have set the equation by equating 1,000 Arab lives to the life of one Israeli (Gilad Shalit) - so by their own numbers...there was no disproportionality. Something to think about....
