Forget Peres, Lieberman has so many more interesting and idiotic statements these days.
I wonder if his neighbors would have voted for him if he had only said the latest a little earlier.

He's simply a shock-jock. He talks a lot, but nothing he says means anything. He likes power, and he likes the spotlight.
People are paying attention to him right now because of the stupid ego that the media gave him by calling him the "king maker" and the "neo-Kahane".
He's neither.
He's just another corrupt politician under investigation for corruption. He's just gloating in the media spotlight while it lasts.
At the end of the day, he's only proving that he's a fraud. A lot of right-wingers voted for him because the leftist media trumpeted him as being a "hardcore Zionist", and when the dust settles and the right realizes he's another secular politician who will say anything to get a vote, Yisrael Beiteinu will fade away.
