Eretz Yisrael Time

The IDF has a problem. Two actually. Well three if you count Olmert.

As much as they say they are ready for a war on two fronts, no one really wants to have to fight that way.

It's no secret that tensions are high with Syria. Newspapers are reporting that Syria has called up reserves. If there is going to be a war, it is going to be by the end of Sukkot.

And then we have the Palestinians Authority in Hamastan/Gaza.

I personally doubt that the Palestinian Authority was even aiming for the soldiers. They were probably aiming for the power plant right next door. Can you imagine the results if they actually hit the wrong place over there?

Can Israel really afford to not react to today's attempted massacre?

The Zionist dream is over. Lets pack up and move on. We are burnt out.

I would imagine that the frustration level with the government (Olmert & Crew) must be at an all time high. How does such a man continue to stay in office?
Am I missing something?

To first "anonymous" all I can say is "Netzah Israel lo y'shaker"--It is mandated in shamayim that a Jewish state be reconstituted in our time. IT was INEVITABLE that the secular Zionist ideology would eventually collapse---secular Jewish nationalism is just not natural. This is a painful but necessary transition we are going through. What we are waiting for, but which doesn't yet exist is the alternative, a group of people who truly believe in the Jewish people and its mission in Eretz Israel to come to power, with the help and support of the people. It is inevitable. It is forbidden to give up or capitulate.
