Follow-up on Terrorist Attack

It turns out that there was a soldier present during the terrorist attack in Yitzhar.
Instead of properly using his gun to kill the terrorist... he shouted at him.
I have to assume that part of his Expulsion Training didn't stick properly, because he should have been more sensitive to the terrorist he was yelling at.
Is there any wonder anymore why it is civilians that have to kill terrorists in this country.
Meanwhile, the army took away 2 guns from Yitzhar residents.
(In case you are wondering about the incident near Talmon last week, except for Makor Rishon, the other newspapers forgot to report what happened in the leadup to that dispute.
Some IDF soldiers from that base came to the outpost (that existed for 18 years) where prayers have been held on a daily basis for the past few years - and purposely (and illegally) destroyed the generator and water system.)
Man, the IDF is confused as to who is the enemy.

I don't get it, settler man, why won't you just jump into the sea? Then the Arabs will be happy and everything will be ok!
Rotter.net is reporting that one of the soldiers who saw the Arab terrorist walk in and out of the Yishuv thought the Arab was simply going to work inside the Yishuv... on Shabbat.

Which rabbi in Yesha was it who recently said that building with non-Jewish labor was allowed on Shabbat (lest Bagatz/Peace Now find an excuse to stop construction first)?
So if the soldier presumed this, it wouldn't have been so unreasonable.
But I thought Yitzhar made a point now of defending themselves and not relying on the army for anything, is that not in fact the case?
It wasn't at Yitzhar, it was in Ofra. As you mentioned, homes in Ofra were under the guns of the Bagatz at the time.
