Eretz Yisrael Time

Besides the money, I heard an interesting explanation recently as to why Sadat made peace with Israel.

Apparently he was scared of his upgraded satellite status in the Soviet empire (and its lack of long term benefits) and other related reasons I can't remember anymore, and this was his out.

Leave it to a zionist fascist like you to ascribe ulterior motives to a man of peace. He made peace for the same reason that Arafat did - the simple, pure desire to live in peace and harmony with his neighbors. That's all the Arabs ever wanted, but Israel won't allow it. They'd rather occupy them, put up roadblocks, and shoot Arab children for no reason.

Btw, Sadat should be applauded for his willingness to negotiate with that terrorist war criminal, Begin.
