Eisenhower said he'd never have...FROM CAROL HERMAN

Eisenhower said he'd never have recognized Israel! And, one US president after another, saw Israel as a problem ONLY when it affected their public standing.

Here? You say it's Soros. And, I say "nay, nay." It's James Baker. Scowcroft. Gates. And, the REPUBLICANS! Plus the fact that Obama has no use for Jews. He doesn't even like them all that much.

I'm most surprised that he picked up Dubya's Mideast policy. By the time Bush left office his popularity was less than 30%. Nobody thought he got anything right in the Mideast!

As to blather, they are just words. Bibi took his wife on this trip. And, she wasn't invited into the White House. And, Obama's wife went to NYC. No handshake. No photo op. No nothing.

So, Bibi has to figure out that where Israel can be made to suffer comes from the same unwillingness all recent presidents have had. You know the ones. They keep Pollard locked up. And, inside the State Department; and running through the Congress are Israel bashers galore.

So? There's nothing new to see here!

On the other hand, Jimmy Carter couldn't get re-elected. What this poses for 2010, when the congress critters run? I do not know.

By I can smell Condolezza Rice's hand prints all over Annapolis. And, here, again. Around 2005 she was being touted as presidential timber. Not. Any. More!

It's possible Obama thinks Israel's an easy place for him to take a stand. There are enough Jew haters to protect his backside.

On the other hand? He can wake up and find that "being Jimmy Carter" isn't exactly a way to gain points when judging presidents.

Good ones however have always been hard to come by. If we've had ten good ones, I'd be surprised. But when we get good ones, here? WOW!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
