It's a great neighborhood, friendly people, very Israeli (not an Anglo majority which is good for Hebrew acquisition), young families, mixed as in some streets dati-leumi, some streets masorti. It's also VERY quiet and peaceful even though its loaded with playgrounds and children. No way am I leaving!

Listen, the US State Dept. didn't want us to have a state AT ALL so why should we pay any attention to their whining about settlements? I don't.

Next time, if you know you're driving thru, email me (msjwilliams@gmail.com) and let me know you're coming, and if you have time, I'll show you our place and the view and the neighborhood. Have coffee with us on the mirpesset and enjoy!aliyah06https://www.blogger.com/profile/12570980519532246704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15423117.post-89906069263965162782007-12-30T17:51:00.000+02:002007-12-30T17:51:00.000+02:00Homat Shmuel (Har Homa) is named for former deputy...Homat Shmuel (Har Homa) is named for former deputy mayor of Jerusalem, Shmuel Meir, who was one of the main proponents of building our neighborhood.

It is an honor to his memory to refer to the neighborhood as Homat Shmuel.RivkA with a capital Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09411034058195730044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15423117.post-3201653805207989422007-12-19T19:47:00.000+02:002007-12-19T19:47:00.000+02:00People were skeptical for a while, but I hope that...People were skeptical for a while, but I hope that now nobody again questions our status as full-fledged Obstacles To Peaceā¢.

The rocket ship, btw, is our last-distch escape plan for when the government comes to expel us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15423117.post-51876138429083276952007-12-19T15:22:00.000+02:002007-12-19T15:22:00.000+02:00How sad that there are those who don't know where ...How sad that there are those who don't know where they belong..........But even sadder, when they say I don't belong.
I say, send the rest of them packing.
