Wow! A few hundred Leftists came to a rally demanding an ‘End to the Occupation’.

I’m impressed they managed to get that many, there must have been free music.

However nasty you want to be about them, the fact remains that more Israelis want to "end the occupation" than not: They just aren't as loud and don't wear as much orange.

They're the nasty ones. J
ust read their standard remarks about the cancerous settlers. And these leftwing extremists are still in the minority. And they still need to take money from foreign governments to get their evil plans implemented because they don't have enough local grassroots support.

Most Israelis want an occupation (or at least a salary), and most Israeli don't see living in all of Israel as occupying it or another people. They see the Palestinians as undesirable neighbors whom we are stuck with and they are searching for solutions as to how to not have to deal with them anymore. The easiest solution (which obviously doesn't work) is to part with parts of Eretz Yisrael, but as Gaza proved, that's not really feasible, now is it?

Anonymous- you're funny! But I don't swear that much, unless I'm driving or dealing with schizophrenic photocopiers.

Joe- I agree with you that they are not representative, but I don't agree with your depiction of how "most Israelis" think. I'll leave the argument about what "doesn't work"- we've had it before and we'll have it again!
